SKYNET™ – Automation Software

A simple and intuitive graphical interface for all normal operations – a touch-screen interface makes using SKYNET™ as simple as using a simple mobile phone app. This is especially helpful on a factory floor where a touchscreen is much easier to use and manage than also having to care for keyboards and mice.

Do-It-Yourself Automation – No Programming Experience Needed

Simply select from a wide selection of pre-defined functionality, arrange them in your desired order, setup conditions if needed, and you are all set to run an automated task! SKYNET™ also allows to you to step through, play, pause, and rewind each automated task sequence created by you to help you easily fine-tune your desired functionality.

The main (landing) screen of SKYNET™ is fully customizable – use one of the pre-defined templates (included) to create your own Human-Machine-Interface (Graphical User Interface), or use our Pebbles^® UI to create a custom interface that suits your specific needs.

Use With Unlimited Third-Party Equipment Or Hardware

A wide range of National Instruments and other third-party hardware are useable with SKYNET™ as long as windows-platform driver(s) are available for your hardware. Although LabVIEW software drivers are easier to use in a plug-n-play fashion, SKYNET™ also works with Windows-platform DLLs to interface with third-party hardware.

SKYNET™ is sold as downloadable software that can be installed on your computers, and it also comes pre-installed on our SKYNET™ automation servers & automation controllers. SKYNET™ can also be set to automatically update through a secure internet connection.

Fully Compatible With LabVIEW

SKYNET™ was created using LabVIEW, and it allows full customization by users using LabVIEW (.vi files) and/or functionality developed using C#. Although no LabVIEW programming experience is necessary for using SKYNET™ for most purposes, custom functionality can be easily implemented using simple LabVIEW templates that are included with SKYNET™, or automatically downloaded from BatchTest’s library server.
